News - Summer 2004
Over the past two years I have been performing extensively, this summer I decided it was time to write more and sew the seeds for a new album.
I was saddened earlier in the year to learn of the passing of a wonderful folk guitarist I was lucky enough to work with. His name was Kenny Moreland and he taught me to enjoy my music.
We used to ride the Brighton seafront on our bikes for about five miles and rehearse in an old public toilet that had been turned into a rehearsal studio. We used to laugh at the fact someone probably urinated where we were standing. RIP Kenny.
The product of these two years of whirling around is “Live and In the Studio” which I am very proud of and is out now and can be purchased from the Go Shopping cart.
This CD summarises my journey from the USA to the UK and lays down a collection of work I recorded with the amazing producer Alan Scott as well as delicate moments caught from live performance.
I believe this album captures the essence of performance and the refined aspects of a studio work.
Right now I am fine-tuning the dates for my autumn tour and spending time creating.
Have a great summer!
